ORBX developer, Bill Womack, has announced the newest edition to the ORBX lineup, Pearson Field KVUO. Pearson Field is located in ORBX's Pacific Northwest region and is located just on the Washington side of the Columbia River north of Portland. Previously released for FSX and P3D, Turbulent is bringing their MBS International Airport over to X-Plane 11. Earlier this year we reviewed this airport in P3D and were highly impressed. Earlier in the year ORBX announced ESSD Dala Airport and it will now be part of a package with ESNQ Kiruna Airport. Kiruna is located in a mining town with flights to Stockholm Arlanda in the real world and nearby Narvik. The airports will also feature snow appearing in the winter time and supposedly have barely any performance hit according to developer, Marcus Nyberg. The Leonardo FlytheMaddogX team has released an update today that addresses a few performance issues some users were having with lighting as well as adding quite a number of new features. After a relatively quiet period of time, A2A has released a development update for their past 6 months of work. In it, they tease a sound clip from a data gathering flight for a "new kind of Accu-Sim engine" being worked on. They have also announced their next product to release, the V-tailed Bonanza. Just announced on their forums, Turbulent Designs has released their latest airport and their first P3D v4 exclusive airport, KGPI. The airport features 11 square kilometers of 30cm photoreal coverage, 100 square km coverage of nearby mountains, lakes, and forests, 830 square km of 5 and 10 meter mesh, custom autogen, SODE features, and more. Just a few minutes ago, Orbx developer Jarrad Marshall has posted a big announcement about the upcoming Netherlands region from Orbx. They claim this is the next generation of Orbx products and combine the features of the FTX Regions with new photoreal terrain. Other features include: "The entirety of Netherlands depicted in complete detail! 85,000km2 of photoreal terrain at 1m resolution (nb the same resolution as traditional landclass textures) Complete seasonal variation: 5 hand-coloured seasons!
